Terms of service

By downloading, accessing, or using EventClub, you agree to be bound by these terms of service and our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after a change means you accept the update.

EventClub is a marketplace that connects event organizers with independent vendors — catering, photography, music, florals, rentals, staffing, and similar services. We provide the platform that lets organizers post events and vendors respond with quotes; we are not a party to the agreement an organizer and vendor ultimately make with each other.

You need an account to post an event, apply to one, or message another user. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

• One account per person or business — no shared or duplicate accounts.
• Vendor accounts representing a company must be created by someone authorized to act on that company's behalf.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

When you post an event, the details you provide — date, location, budget, and scope — should be accurate and current. You're responsible for reviewing vendor profiles, ratings, and quotes before confirming a booking, and for paying the agreed rate through the app.

Vendors are independent businesses or individuals, not employees or agents of EventClub. You're responsible for holding any licenses, permits, insurance, or certifications your service requires, and for honoring the quotes and availability you provide once a booking is confirmed.

A booking is confirmed once both parties accept the terms in-app and any required deposit is paid. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider; EventClub does not store your full payment card details. Service fees, where they apply, are shown before you confirm a booking.

Cancellation terms are set at the time of booking and shown to both parties before confirmation. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance a booking is cancelled and the specific vendor's cancellation policy. EventClub can help mediate a dispute but isn't responsible for guaranteeing a refund on a vendor's behalf.

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent event or vendor listings.
• Circumventing the app to avoid service fees after a match is made through EventClub.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against another user.
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of local event, licensing, or safety regulations.

The EventClub app, logo, and platform content are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload, but you grant us a license to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

EventClub is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any vendor will meet your expectations or that any event will meet a vendor's expectations of an organizer — we facilitate the introduction and the booking, not the quality of the service delivered.

To the extent permitted by law, EventClub isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including disputes between organizers and vendors, event cancellations, or service quality issues.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or puts other users at risk.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which EventClub is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
